This is an almost finished edition of my SMG. This is carved from a 2x4, mixed with copper pipe, some pvc, and some spare pieces here and there.
Features include: Spring action fabricated trigger. Replaceable butt struts. Interchangable muzzles. Reloadable helical magazine. Working scope with cross hairs.
that's pretty wicked! I've been trying to make a steampunk sniper rifle, but I don't quite know how to make the trigger work or get the barrel on (I'm thinking of routing the wood and putting the barrel on. Barrel is 3ft)
If you would like to give any insight, that would rock.

Is there anything that can't be made better with the addition of bacon?
No problem. My method is to bore a slot through the middle of the body from above the trigger area right down into i. Then make a trigger out of a piece of aluminum that is as thick as the trigger will be, flat and about two and a half inches long. You will need to put a hole into the piece of aluminum to make an axle out of. I just bored at an angle back behind the trigger area and then got a finishing nail driven in there using whatever i had around. Drill a tiny hole into the back of the trigger and put a tiny screw into it. Lastly put a clicky pen spring between the finishing nail and the screw, as the two will hold it in place. I had to put a bolt down in front of the trigger so that it wouldn't move forward and dislodge the tiny spring. I can make pics happen if you need, it IS kinda a rough description.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
